The interview process….

Production Operator

You’ll complete some standard screening questions to ensure we can proceed with your application. You’ll need to confirm you have the right to work in the UK and don’t have any unspent convictions. We’ll also ask you to let us know if you have been referred to you the role and give their name, if relevant as part of our employee referral schemeView Benefits

Skills Test and Interview

If we decide to take your application forward you’ll be invited to take part in a skills test on a shop floor. We won’t expect you to be an expert, but we’ll ask you to complete a task to ensure you can read instructions clearly, recognise a drawing and follow a procedure accurately. You’ll then meet with a Production Supervisor for a formal interview and an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about the role.

Medical

If you are successful, you’ll receive a job offer and invitation for a basic medical, either on-site or at an occupational health clinic.

Job Offer

Providing you pass the medical check, we’ll be able to confirm your formal job offer and you’ll move forward to our on-boarding process.

Engineer

For engineering roles, you’ll need to submit your CV and complete our standard screening questions to ensure we can proceed with your application, including confirming your right to work in the UK and that you don’t have any unspent criminal convictions. Interview

Office-based & Management

We’ll invite you to attend a formal interview with the hiring manager. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, learn more about the role and talk through your experience.

Second interview (dependant on role)

Walk & Talk

If we decide to proceed with your application, you’ll be invited to attend a Walk & Talk with a Supervisor. This is an opportunity for you to experience our culture, see some of the robots and equipment you could be working with and ask any questions you have. You may also be asked to take part in a timed skills test on a shop floor. You’ll then sit down for a more formal interview to assess your suitability for the role.

Medical

Next, you’ll take part in an online screening interview with Sunderland College to check your suitability for the role.

Maintenance assessment

If we decide to proceed with your application, we’ll invite you to complete a skills test. Next we’ll sit down for a formal interview, this is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions.

Online screening interview

We’ll invite to you an online screening interview via Microsoft Teams. This is an opportunity to get to know you, assess your suitability for the role and for you to ask any questions.

Assessment Day

We’ll invite successful applicants to an on-site assessment day. During this fun and interactive day you’ll take part in team-building exercises that will give you the chance to show off your leadership and communication skills, motivation and can-do attitude.

Interview

Next, you’ll be invited to a formal interview that will go more in-depth than the initial screening.
