This 1-year scheme in Process Engineering ensures our engineering placements get to experience working life in a high-tech plant environment while learning skills and knowledge for their future career.
The role is aligned to business-needs, where you will typically work in singular process areas, but with the chance to work in different departments and cross-functional teams on real projects that will contribute to the success of the plant.
Our high-performing placement students are often invited back to take part in our graduate scheme, setting them on a solid path for future career success in Engineering.
With an assigned mentor for the full year your training will be a mix of cross-functional working on live projects, along with carefully-planned additional in-house and externally-provided training.
On our engineering placements you will quickly be given opportunities to use and build upon your training with live projects and real working environments, working cross-functionally within our operating zones. Everything you do here will make a real difference to the plant, where each day will be interesting and filled with new challenges and opportunities to learn. Our placement students relish the real-world skills and experiences that our schemes bring.
You will work with cutting-edge technology here at our world-leading battery plant, playing a real part in continually innovating our processes and end product. AESC is poised to play a key role in helping to develop the sustainability and electrification of mobility and it is a hugely exciting time to be involved in the industry.
We work closely with our global partners, including our US sister plant, where data is regularly shared and we are able to build international relationships and solve issues together. You will get the chance to take part in meetings with global counterparts, including Japan and Europe.
