Whether you’re working within our Die Maintenance team, covering Cell and Module, or becoming an expert in our machinery as a Facilities Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we operate as efficiently as possible. Like everyone at AESC UK, our Maintenance Technicians work cross-functionally, coming together as a team and collaborating with different departments as we work together towards a common goal.

Since starting his apprenticeship in Die Maintenance, Geoff has used opportunities in project working and zone rotations to make the move into Facilities Maintenance, growing from Apprentice to Technician to Team Leader and now Supervisor, where he is looking forward to this next chapter at AESC and the maintenance careers we offer.

“Being able to move between zones and actively contribute to important projects has helped me develop in my role and progress to Maintenance Supervisor. It is invigorating to now be able to view the whole factory process as one and support its excellence in delivery through managing and motivating our Maintenance workforce. I’m looking forward to growing and learning in this new role and I feel confident of the support, training and mentorship to help me succeed.”

Facility Maintenance Technicians.

Our Facility Maintenance Technicians specialise in specific areas, becoming experts in the machinery in their section. But don’t worry – there’s still plenty of variety and you’ll have opportunities to rotate to different areas throughout your career.

As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of the equipment in your area and become the go-to person for ensuring it performs to the required KPIs. Working with cutting edge equipment such as high speed motion control, vision systems, robot PLC control systems, our Facility Maintenance Technicians have the chance to develop a range of skills through comprehensive training.

Like all our Maintenance Technician careers, you’ll typically work on a continental shift pattern (dependent on business needs), providing a fantastic work-life balance.
